Covering an area of over 800 hectares, Myślęcinek is the largest urban park in Poland, located only three kilometers from Bydgoszcz city center. This enclave of enchanted woodland featuring hills, gorges and creeks is frequently visited not only by the locals, but also by tourists who quickly fall in love with both the beauty of the natural landscapes and the rich cultural and entertainment opportunities offered by the park. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and take a break from the busy city life as well as spend some fun time doing competitive sports, Myślęcinek is the right place for you!

The natural ponds are one of the greatest attractions of Myślęcinek. In the very middle of the largest of these, you will find a small islet known as the "Bird Island"; the name coming from the gigantic colonies of black-headed gulls and terns, who have decided to make this small piece of land their home.

One of the most popular spots in the park is the "Różopole" Glade, where countless concerts, festivals, picnics and sporting events take place. This is also the favourite place for leisure, relaxation and all sorts of outdoor activities for visitors to the park

The park covers as much as 4.7% of the total area of the city of Bydgoszcz. The total area covered by its bodies of water amounts to 18.5 ha (2% of the park's area), and the biggest of these ponds covers an impressive area of 10.3 ha.

The boundaries of the Myślęcinek Forest Park for Culture and Leisure are delineated by the following landmarks:

  • Jeździecka Street (also known as the Park's Bypass) – from the North
