Trails

The main purpose of the Kujawski-Pomorskie Centre for Ecological Education is to effectively educate children, young people and adults from the Kujawski-Pomorskie region about various aspects of ecology.

Our modern educational facilities and the location of the Centre amidst diverse natural habitats (woods, meadows, ponds and reeds) provide for the wonderful educational opportunities which our Centre can offer in the field of ecology.

Eco Learning

School trips are probably the most efficient type of ecological education, since they allow students to interact directly with plants and animals during a few days spent in our Centre. Such trips allow children and young people to understand and remember the theoretical knowledge they have gained during school lessons, and help teachers kindle a sense of respect for nature among their students.

Classrooms and laboratories

Field trips and outdoor classes are complemented by classroom and laboratory activities: in the Microscopic Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Ecology Laboratory and the audiovisual room equipped with state-of-the-art tools.

Microscopic Laboratory

The lab features 10 microscopes (12x5, 12x10, 12x40) and 12 stereoscopic lenses, as well as an additional lens for the instructor (connected to the monitor). The capacity of the laboratory is 20 people.

Teaching

Educators employed at our Centre can conduct courses and teaching programmes in the field of ecology, biology and environmental protection. We encourage teachers to develop and conduct their own classes in the Centre's classrooms - we will provide them with support, educational materials and all necessary technical equipment.

All of the themes and subjects in our range can be taught both inside the buildings of the Centre and in its surroundings: the Botanical Garden, the Polish Fauna Garden and the woods, meadows and at the ponds of the Forest Park of Culture and Leisure.
