Weather throughout seasons

Children take part in a talk and games in which they learn how to distinguish seasons, their features and describe weather. They also find out how animals and plants adapt to changing seasons.

Freshwater and land habitats

While walking at the pond we can compare the two habitats, their plants and animals as well as their requirements, learn about their ways of adapting to living in water and on the land.

Animals' preparations for winter-time

The classes take place in the fauna garden, at the pond and in an audio-visual classroom and let participants learn about the animal species which specifically prepare for winter-time.

The reason why water must be clean

Walks alongside the ponds, field analyses, lab classes, films and talks give an opportunity to realize the importance of water to both plants and animals. Participants learn about water cleanliness level, ways of its preservation and purification.

Little garden

Children find out  diversity of plant types that can decorate every garden. They also learn the whole cycle of their keeping- from spring to autumn including natural methods of protecting plants. They learn how to deal with garden wastes.

What about the litter?

Children familiarize with basic terms regarding wastes and their recycling. The importance of litter segregation is clearly pointed out based on the example of cans.

How to distinguish a plant from an animal?

Classes for younger primary school-children. The purpose of the classes is to present main characteristics of plants, birds, insects, mammals. Children are taught a basic classification of the living world.

Hedgehog- our friend
